Accessibility Statement

LearningDifferences.Info® was built to help families of children with disabilities. We want parents, caregivers, advocates, educators and other visitors, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this site.

Our accessibility goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities. We are continuing to improve the site’s accessibility.

How we assess accessibility

On November 6, 2026, we checked 12 key pages of the site with an automated accessibility tool, at desktop and phone screen sizes. We fixed the problems it found, including improving color contrast, and added a “Skip to content” link for keyboard users.

Automated tools find only some accessibility problems. We plan to add manual checks with a keyboard and a screen reader, and we welcome feedback from visitors who use assistive technology.

Known accessibility limitations

Known accessibility limitations include:

  • The A–Z links on the School Districts page can be difficult to tap because of their small size. You can also scroll through the full list of districts.

Some features, including payment, use services provided by other companies. If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using one of these services through our site, please contact us so we can help and raise the issue with the provider.

We will update this statement as we identify and address accessibility barriers.

Tell us about a barrier or request help

If you have difficulty using this site or need information in another format, email [email protected].

Please include the page address and what you were trying to do. If you know which device, browser or assistive technology you were using, that can help us investigate, but it is not required. You do not need to disclose a disability or diagnosis.

We aim to respond within five business days. If resolving the issue will take longer, we will explain the next steps and work with you to find another way to access the information or service you need.
